At home, I’m a professional chaos-coordinator to three boys, one cute husband, and a very old corgi who will always be a baby to me.

Here’s the truth: I actually don’t love being in front of the camera. I always feel awkward, like an ugly duckling who never quite knows how to smile or control her body. Because of that, I completely understand how uncomfortable it can feel to have a lens pointed at you, and I take a lot of pride in helping my clients relax and see themselves the way others do: naturally, beautifully, and without pressure.

During sessions, I keep things light, fun, and as stress-free as possible. My personal disclaimer? I’ll always make sure you look like you. I don’t believe in creating an unrealistic version of someone. I believe in showcasing the best version of who you already are.

When I edit, I remove anything temporary (like acne, redness, or a stray hair), but I don’t alter features that make you you. I like to joke that I’ll make sure you look like you’ve had the best night’s sleep of your life, like you’ve been following an excellent skincare routine, and like you’re feeling your most confident, least bloated version of yourself, but I won’t take away what makes you real. You’ll look rested, vibrant, and completely yourself, because that’s the version of you worth celebrating!

I do, however, love doing artistic shoots! We can intentionally pick a mood and vibe and create a story around it. I view an artistic shoot with more heavy editing differently than normal portraits. If you want to get spooky, whimsical, mysterious, or silly, I am game! Let's get crazy!
